Start Address Greater Than End Address
All addresses from the start address to the final address and all addresses from address 0006 hex to
the end address in the RF Tag, inclusive, will be write-protected.
The write protection setting area in the RF Tag is not write-protected.
Addresses 0000 and 0001 hex will always be write-protected (regardless of the write protection enable/disable setting in
the RF Tag).
Clearing Write Protection Using the V600 Method
To temporarily clear write protection, e.g., to overwrite the write-protected data, turn OFF the MSB of
the following address in the RF Tag.
• V600 EEPROM write protection method:
0000 hex
• V600 SRAM write protection method:
0002 hex
• V680 write protection method:
0000 hex
Application Precaution for Write Protection
Write protection is implemented by the ID Sensor Unit. It will not be effective for Reader Writers from other companies.
