2-3-3 Windows 95/98 Setup Operations
This section explains how to install the PCMCIA Card driver in Windows 95/98
and make the Card usable.
The procedure for installing the PCMCIA Card differs depending on the version
of Windows 95/98, and the presence and absence of an old version of the Com-
poBus/D Configurator as below.

Note
1. The operations and screen displays may differ slightly depending on the
type of computer being used.
2. OSR2 (OEM Service Release 2) is the newest preinstalled version of Win-
dows 95. Refer to Determining the Version for details on how to check the
version of Windows 95.
Determining the Version
The setup procedure for the PCMCIA Card differs depending on whether the
version of Windows 95 is OSR2.
The following procedure shows how to determine the version of Windows 95.

1. Click on the “Start” button and select “Control Panel” from the “Settings”
menu.
2. Double-click on “System” icon to open the System Properties window.
