Inserting a Color Image into a Designated Area 

(Image Composition)

This function enables you to make copies by extracting an image from a color 
original and inserting it into a designated area of a black-and-white original that is 
used as the background original. (See “What the CLC 1180/1140 Can Do,” on p. 1-
27.)

IMPORTANT

This function is available only if the editor (option) and the IP-ED board (option) are 
attached.

•

You can only use LTR-size originals and paper placed in the vertical position when 
making copies with Image Composition. Auto Paper Selection cannot be specified.
