cloth or paper original, and adding that texture to copies
made with another original. (See “Adding Patterns
(Texture),” on p. 4-23.)
- [Nega/Posi]:
Copies by reversing the hues and gradations of the entire
original. (See “Reversing the Hues and Gradations (Nega/

Copies by changing the original type of the designated
area only. (See “Selecting the Original Type,” on p. 1-59.)
- [Color Balance]:
Copies by adjusting the color tone through changes in the
intensity, saturation, and hue of the original’s primary
colors. (See “Adjusting the Color of the Image (Color
Balance),” on p. 3-19.)
You can specify multiple functions for the same designated area. The keys
corresponding to functions that cannot be specified together are grayed out.
For information on the limitations of Area Designation, see “The Limitations of
Area Designation,” on p. 4-48.
When two designated areas overlap one another, image processing for the area
group that was designated later (area group with the larger number) will be given
priority. This is also true when areas specified for Framing and Blanking overlap.
The display returns to the screen for selecting the Image Editing function.
