Recalling a Previous Copy Setting
(Recall)
This function enables you to recall up to three previous copy settings and make
copies using these settings.
IMPORTANT
.
•
Copy settings that you specify can be recalled by pressing [Recall] only if they are stored
in memory. Copy settings are stored into memory if you press (Start) or
(Reset)
after specifying the settings, or if the Auto Clear function activates after the settings are
specified. In other words, if copy settings were specified but the abovementioned keys
were not pressed, or the Auto Clear function did not activate, the settings you specified
cannot be recalled by pressing [Recall].
•
Identical copy settings are counted as one setting.
•
Once stored, the last three copy settings are held in memory even if the power is turned
off. However, texture patterns and scans of text originals created in the Character
Composition mode are erased.
•
Freehand areas, traced areas, and polygon areas specified through Area Designation
cannot be recalled.
.
1
Place the originals; then press [Recall].
2
Select either [1 Before], [2 Before], or [3 Before]. Verify the
settings; then press [OK].
The display returns to the Basic Features screen.
NOTE
.
•
You can also check which copy settings are stored into memory other than the
currently displayed copy settings by pressing [ ] or [ ].
