TCP port
The TCP port value specifies which TCP port number is used for establishing a socket interface
connection between host and imagePRESS C7010VPS series. Whenever the TCP port value has
been changed within the PRISMAsync Settings Editor, it is necessary to reboot the printer in
order to use this new TCP port value.
The default value is for the TCP port is 9100. Allowed TCP port value is in the range 7500-9100. As
soon as a new port number is set, a check is performed with respect to the range. If the port
number is not in the range 7500-9100, the value is rejected and a new port number is requested.
A system reboot is required before the changes take effect.
At start up time, it is checked if the socket port is not in use. If the port is already in use, an error
message is logged and the socket connection is disabled.
