The device group of the HR MIB

Introduction

The hrDevicegroup includes the following tables:
• hrDeviceTable
• hrPrinterTable

Each entry in the hrDeviceTable consists of the following objects:
• hrDeviceIndex
• hrDeviceType
• hrDeviceDescr
• hrDeviceId
• hrDeviceStatus
• hrDeviceErrors

The hrDeviceGroup has only one entry in the hrDeviceTable which refers to the complete system.

Each entry in the hrPrinterTable consists of the following objects:
• hrPrinterStatus
• hrPrinterDetectedErrorState

The hrDeviceGroup has only one entry in the hrPrinterTable which refers to the print engine.

hrDeviceIndex

Access

Index “1” represents the hrDevicePrinter entry in the hrDeviceTable. Only one hrDevicePrinter
entry is supported.

hrDeviceType

Access

: read only item.

This object returns the value 5 (“hrDevicePrinter”).

hrDeviceDescr

A textual description of the device.
