Additional Information
• When using the standard dome, the oven will operate at normal temperatures of up
to 420ºF/216˚C.
• When the dehydrator dome is locked onto the Elite, this will prompt the oven to go into
dehydration mode. DEHYD will appear on the LCD and the oven will not exceed
200ºF/93˚C.
• When releasing the dehydrator dome from the power head, this will disable the
dehydration process.
• Dehydrator temperatures must be programmed and saved in order to become
permanent memory.
CLEANING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Unplug the unit before cleaning. The dome and all other parts, except the Power Head,
are dishwasher safe. Protect the metal and plastic surfaces; do not use abrasive
cleaners or scouring pads. Clean after each use. The outer surface of the Power Head
can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth.

Dehydrate Function
The default setting is programmed at 200ºF/93˚C. This function can be used to dehydrate
foods such as beef jerky, fruits, vegetables, spices, flowers, etc. To activate the dehydrate
function, make sure the program is clear (press CLEAR button). The LCD display will read “0.”
Press DEHYD button. If you have the dehydrator accessory attached to the power head, this
will automatically activate the dehydrator temperature settings. Press COOK TEMP Button,
TEMP indicator will flash and 200ºF/93˚C will be displayed. You can enter in temperatures
from 100º-200ºF/38˚C-93˚C in 1-degree increments. Press the COOK TIME Button. Enter the
required time in hours and minutes by pressing the corresponding numerals.
For example, 1 hour and 30 minutes would be entered by pressing 1, 3, 0. The display
panel will show 1:30. If the required time is in minutes, you need to enter 1 or 2 numbers.
For example, for 5 minutes just push 5; 46 minutes, push 46. The maximum time that can
be set for dehydrating is 99 hours and 59 minutes. If the number needs to be corrected,
clear the entry by pressing the PAUSE/CLEAR button twice, then re-enter the correct
numbers. Press START to start the dehydrating process. Alarm will “beep” when time has
expired. To deactivate the dehydrator, press Reset button under the Power Head.
Program Function
The PROG button represents a variety of functions available to users of the NuWave Elite,
including Memory Entry (the storage of frequently used stage cooking programs), Memory
Recall (retrieval of stage cooking sequences), Stage Cooking Mode and Dehydrator Mode.
Programming
—Press STAGE button, then enter appropriate temperatures, times and
additional stages if necessary for your recipes. Press PROG button to confirm the number
you selected, then press START or press PAUSE/CLEAR to Recall. Up to 12 cooking
functions may be stored with each memory entry (SEAR, 10 additional stages of cooking
time, temperature and WARM).
If you are unsure of the current cooking temperature while the Elite is cooking, press
STAGE, then COOK TEMP to display the current temperature. The display will
automatically revert to the cooking time after several seconds.
NOTE:
You may store up to 99 different entries (1-99). When you press the DEHYD
button, you can enter 20 additional programs that will not exceed 200ºF/93˚C
(1001-1020).
Memory Recall
—Press PROG button. “00” will blink in the display area.
Then, select the appropriate numeral buttons to store the program.

Always keep a log of your recipes in a safe place.
