11. MULTIPLEXER’S OPERATION FROM THE LEVEL OF SYSTEM KEYBOARDS
NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 can be remotely controlled from the level of NV-KBD60 or
NV-KBD30 keyboards. It is possible to control many multiplexers from the level of one keyboard (up
to 10). The total bus length cannot exceed 1200m. The devices are connected in daisy-chain way.
The NV-KBD30 keyboard has buttons by means of which all the multiplexer’s functions can be
accessed. To access some functions you need to simultaneously press two buttons. The keyboard has
LED display informing about the ID of currently controlled multiplexer and displaying values input on
by means of the keyboard.
NV-KBD60 keyboard is an advanced device that allows users to control both multiplexers and
cameras. The control is independent from the front panel control that is described in chapter 8. The
keyboard lets users appreciate all the PTZ camera functions.
The keyboard is equipped with buttons and knobs that correspond to the ones in multiplexer. It also
has a LCD display, displaying basic information about functions, transmission parameter etc.
