3.7.3 HDD Backup
Form the level of
HDD Backup
submenu users can copy recordings onto swappable HDD, USB disk or
a CD/DVD (depending on the multiplexer model).
•
In the
Time
field time frames are set.
•
In the
Channel Selection
field users select channels from which recorded images are to be
copied within the specified time frames. If you select
All
images from all the cameras will be
copied (if the images have been recorded within the given time frame). After ticking off
All
and
selecting
Use Mark
it is possible to select required channels.
•
Selecting
Backup
starts the copying process of the selected recordings onto the disk that operates
in the
Backup
mode.
•
Selecting
USB Backup
starts the copying process of the selected recordings onto the disk
connected to the USB.
•
Selecting
DVD/CD Backup
starts the copying process of the selected recordings onto a CD or
DVD. This option is only active in devices that have a built-in DVD/CD burner or if an external
burner is connected to the device via USB or FireWire port.
•
Selecting
USB Memory Backup
starts the copying process of the selected recordings onto
a portable memory stick (Flash) via USB port.
•
Erase CD/DVD-RW
- deleting data from CD/DVD-RW.
