3.7.6.7 Mail Notification
The device is capable of sending email messages with the information about the system status. You are
advised to use this option in a wise way so that wrong configuration of sending parameters may cause
that a lot of emails will be sent and it may block the email server. To send messages you may use only
server which does not require authorization of the user who tries to connect from a given site.
In the
Mail Notification
submenu there are options concerning web option that allows to send emails by
means of SMTP server that is given in the
Address
field. In the
Port
Number
field please set the port
number through which sending emails is done.

There can be many items on the list of the address but it is possible to send emails to the
addresses that are ticked(
). To change settings concerning a given addressee, select it and press
ENTER
. Ticking
Use
means that mail notification will be active for the given addressee. In the
Name
field input any name identifying the addressee. In the
Address
field input addressee’s
address.

In order to add a new addressee to the list click
Add
.

In order to delete an addressee from the list click
Delete
