PLAYBACK
During playback different display modes (splits,
TRIPLEX
) described in chapter 2.4 are available.
Some display mode buttons have different function in the playback mode then the one described below
them.
Depending on the resolution recorded images will be displayed in the 360x288 or 720x288 format (full
screen). In case of recording in low resolution it is possible to “spread” the image over the full screen
by means of digital zoom.
Direction of playback is selected by
PLAY
and
R.PLAY
buttons.
Arrow symbols, displayed in the lower right corner, inform about the mode and direction of playback.
Date and time, from which the recording comes, are displayed on the bottom of the screen or in the
particular camera windows. Pressing the button causes change in the mode of clock display.
The bar in the lower left corner shows the place on the disk of the currently played back recording.
Pressing
PLAY
or
R.PLAY
buttons again pauses the recording playback.
The following symbols appears on the screen.
In the pause mode it is possible to achieve frame by frame display by means of the
JOG
dial. In order
to start the playback press either
PLAY
or
R.PLAY
.
It is possible to speed up the playback by means the
SHUTTLE
ring. When turning right the forward
playback speed is increased, when turning left the reverse playback speed is increased. The angle of
turning allows user to choose one of the 6 levels of speeding the playback up.
These levels are pictured as arrows.
It is possible to slow the playback down using the
JOG
dial.
You can choose from the 5 levels of slowing the playback down.
Turn the dial right to slow the playback down as far as the forward playback is concerned.
Turn the dial left to slow the playback down as far as the reverse playback is concerned.
Pressing
STOP
stops the playback and the user goes back to the playback menu. Pressing
STOP
(or
EXIT
) again means that you leave the playback menu.
NOTICE: When changing the direction, speed or the kind of split screen you can notice green
background or that the clock will stop for a split second. It results from the
decompression of the MPEG4 stream and is normal during playback.
NOTICE: When recordings from overlapped time (e.g. after daylight saving feature operation) are
selected following message appears. User is able to decide which segment should be played.
