SCHEDULE PROGRAMMING
4. SCHEDULE PROGRAMMING
As it was mentioned in Chapter 3.2 the multiplexer allows users to create very complex recording
schedules allowing to adjust recording parameters according to site characteristics and allowing to save
disk’s space. The schedule is presented in the form of a graph. Each of the rectangles represents one
hour and one channel. The channels are described on the left and hours on top. Additionally, in the line
below channel No9 there is a line of quality and audio recording. Recording mode is marked with the
following colors:
Black color means that there is no recording at all.
Schedule programming is described on the example. It has been assumed that the schedule has not been
programmed for the NV-DVR3009 multiplexer or has its default settings. In such a case the schedule
for all days will look in the following way:
Site characteristics entails the following recording parameters:
From Monday to Friday images from channels 1-5 will be recorded continuously from 10 a.m. to 6
p.m. At other times images from the particular channels will be recorded only after motion has been
detected. Images from channels 6-9 will be recorded for 24 hours after motion has been detected or if
they have received a signal from the PIR detectors connected to alarm inputs. Baud rate fro all the
channels and days has to be set to maximum.
Quality -level No 5, resolution - high, audio recording on.
On Saturday and Sunday images from all the channels are recorded in the 24-hour mode after motion
has been detected or if the signal from the PIR detectors connected to alarm inputs has been detected.
Recording at maximum baud rate, resolution and quality.
Additionally, on 24-25th December, the multiplexer is to operate in the Saturday-Sunday mode even if
these dates fall on another weekday.
