PTZ CAMERAS
In the
Model
field select
Novus-C
protocol.
In the
Control ID
field select the camera address that is to be controlled after accessing a given
multiplexer’s channel. The address corresponds to the channel number for which the settings have been
configured by default. Nevertheless, you can select any address from 1 to 255.
In order to check if the connection and the settings are fine you can press
Control Test.
Next turn the
SHUTTLE
ring right or left. If the settings and connection are OK the camera should start turning. Press
EXIT
to go back to the main menu.
Ticking
Reverse Pan
and
Reverse Tilt
means that the camera will turn in another direction then the one
chosen by Shuttle ring. In some situations such a change may make camera control more intuitive.
Name
and
Adjustments
parameters are described in chapter 3.1.2.
8.3 PTZ Camera Control
As mentioned before cameras can be controlled in 3 ways: front panel buttons, IR remote control,
through the computer network.
8.3.1 Control by Means of Front Panel Buttons
In order for the user to be able to control PTZ camera go to Camera Control.
To do this press any of the PTZ buttons.
In the PTZ mode it is possible to select the cameras to be controlled. To do this select a required
camera by means of numeric button.
