BACKUP
6.2 Recordings Backup onto Swappable Disk.
NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 allow users to backup recordings onto a swappable disk. In order
for the user to be able to backup recordings onto a swappable disk it has to be set to
Copy
mode (see
chapter 3.7.2). The material is copied into its own
*.603
format. Files with such an extension can be
played back on the multiplexer or a computer by means of
N-Viewer 3000
software.
Notices:
1. Recording is still active during copying.
2. Live Monitoring via computer network is possible but the refresh rate goes down.
3. Web monitoring is not possible during copying.
In order to backup recordings go to
System Setup/ HDD Backup
.
In the
Time
field recordings time period for backup is set.
In the
Channel Selection
field users choose if recordings from all channels (
All
) or from particular
channels (
Select...
) are to be recorded.
After selecting the range of copying press
Backup.
On the bottom of the window messages concerning the progress of copying
or problems with copying will appear.
