9. CONNECTING DEVICES TO ALARM INPUTS AND OUTPUTS
NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 have 9 or 16 alarm inputs allowing to connect external devices.
Connectors to connect cords have easy-to-use screw terminals. Grounding (G) is the first pin to the left
in the first connector. Alarm inputs are next. The same is as far as the second connector is concerned.
Inputs operate in the TTL standard that is why you have to provide appropriate voltage creating electric
circuit for each input as it is presented on the scheme.
Attention: Both alarm inputs and outputs are not protected against atmospheric discharges.
Users should protect inputs from the discharges as they can permanently damage
them.
