MULTIPLEXER’S MENU
3.7.2 HDD Management
Attention: Entry to the HDD Management submenu during recording will stop the recording. You will
be informed about it by the following message.
After entering
HDD Management
submenu the list of all HDDs installed in the device as well as
connected to it via FireWire or USB ports.
Attention: Switch the multiplexer off before connecting any HDD.
The window with information about HDD contains the following data:
•
In the
For
column there is information whether a given disk is a normal HDD used for current
recording or it is a disk used for creating and storing recording copies.
Attention: At least one disk in the system has to work in the current recording mode.

In the
Type
column there is information about disk interface type.
IDE
means that the disk is
built-in,
1394
means that it is an external disk on the FireWire connector.
•
In the
Cap.
column there is information about disk’s capacity. It is given in GB.
•
In the
Free
column there is information about disk’s free space.
