Setup 600 – Take Over
Take Over Mode
Function:
Selects this unit’s takeover mode.
Settings:
NONE
This unit cannot take or offer control. Choose this setting for all
units at a given position except for the priority unit.
TAKE OVER
This unit may take over control using the Takeover control trans-
fer method. Choose this setting for the priority unit at a given po-
sition when the system is to be configured for the Takeover
transfer method. Generally, the priority units’ transfer method
should be the identical at all positions.
CALL UP
This unit may take over and offer control using the Call-Up con-
trol transfer method. Choose this setting for the priority unit at a
given position when the system is to be configured for the Call-
Up transfer method. Generally, the priority units’ transfer method
should be the identical at all positions.
Take Over Alarm
Function:
Enables or disables the audible takeover alarm.
Settings:
ON
An intermittent audible alarm (three beeps) is given when this
unit has issued or received a control offer and no position has
taken over control yet.
OFF
No audible takeover alarm is given at this unit.
