Common questions and answers
Question: I moved an Instant Internet unit from a Windows NT domain to a
peer-to-peer Windows 95 (or Windows 98 or Windows 2000) network. Now the
Admin utility will not let me delete the old domain users. How can I delete the old
users?
Answer: You must set the access for the old users to the default user. Use the
following procedure:

Start the Admin utility.

Select the users that you want to delete and then click Change.

Select User Access.

Click Clear and then click OK.

for Internet Access, News Groups, and Incoming Ports.

Clear the Disable, Ignore Group Settings, No Raw Sockets, and No Messages
check boxes.

Click OK.
When you clear the View NT Users and Groups check box, the users are
deleted.
