Enabling bandwidth on demand
You can set the dial and hang-up thresholds and the demand timeout for the ISDN
interface.
To enable bandwidth on demand:

Click Advanced.
The ISDN Configuration (advanced) dialog box opens. Refer to
Figure 102
or
Figure 103
depending on your hardware.

Select the Dial on demand check box.

Change any of the following information:
•
Dial threshold – Enter the percentage of bandwidth that must be in use
before an additional interface can dial.
•
Hangup threshold – Enter the percentage of bandwidth below which an
interface hangs up.
•
Timeout – The number of minutes with no traffic before the additional
interface hangs up. A value of zero prevents the interface from timing out.

Click OK.
