Setting the number of lines
If you have a dual-analog modem configuration, you can select the number of
lines that the Instant Internet unit uses to dial out.
To select the number of lines:
Configuring advanced communication settings for a T1
connection
If you have T1 interface on the Instant Internet unit, you can configure the starting
channel, line style, clock, auto-loopback settings. and a backup interface.
To configure advanced communication settings for a T1 interface:

Start Setup, and if prompted, select a unit to configure.

In the Interfaces area, select the T1 interface and then click Configure.
The T1 Configuration dialog box opens

In the Number of lines box, select the number of lines and then click OK.
