6. Maintenance
The scraper (R) must remain adjusted
with the smooth drum and not with
the counter-knife.
IMPORTANT!
1.
Keep the bolts (N) loose for now;
2.
Return the platform to the working
position. When you return it, the scraper
(R) will be moved to the correct working
position.
3.
Articulate the platform again and tighten
the 3 bolts (N).
4.
Finally, return the platform to the working
position and replace the previously
disassembled items.

ATTENTION!
After adjusting, rotate the rotor manually
by turning one full turn. Observe carefully
if there is no contact between the knives
and the counter knife. IIf necessary, redo
the adjustment as previously described.
Operate the machine with a friction of
knives with counter knife will damage the
machine and could result in the release
of fragments that could hit people and
cause an accident involving personal
injury.
The use of PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment) is mandatory during
operation, maintenance and adjustment
of the machine. Wear suitable gloves and
eye protection. Take special care when
handling knives and counter knife, these
components have sharp areas that can
cause injury if handled without proper
protection and care.
