7.1.12 Lower rotation axis ASSY (40274-3000)
Replacement part: 40274-3000
Liquid gasket (white, Three Bond 1211 or its equivalent)
Necessary tool: Instrument stand allowing access to instrument interior from below
1 . Mount the instrument onto the prepared stand which allows access to the lower rotation
axis ASSY(40274-3000) under the base ASSY (40274-1500).
2 . Remove the following parts and ASSYs.
1 ) Lens adapter (40251-M045) (See 7.5.1 [p161].)
2 ) Lens clamp ASSY (40251-3200) (See 7.1.26 [p124].)
3 ) Upper shaft ASSY (40274-5000) (See 7.1.14 [p109].)
4 ) L spindle block ASSY (40273-7200) (See 7.1.23 [p121].)
5 ) Right processing base ASSY (40274-7100) (See 7.1.20 [p114].)
6 ) Right processing ASSY (40274-7200, 40274-72S0) (See 7.1.21 [p118].)
7 ) Processing chamber ASSY (40274-4000) (See 7.1.13 [p108].)
3 . Disconnect the following connectors.
1 ) CN2 of closed loop motor driver MD06 (40274-E019)
2 ) P621 (J21) of the I/O board (40274-BA06)
4 . Unscrew SB6 × 20 (n = 4) to replace the
lower rotation axis ASSY (40274-3000).
5 . Reassemble the parts in the reverse order.
6 . Perform the following.
1 ) Upper/Lower Shaft Position Adjustment (See 8.6 [p178].)
2 ) Wheel calibration (See 8.12.3 [p191].)
3 ) Groove calibration (See 8.12.4 [p192].)
4 ) Processing Adjustment (See 8.14 [p197].)
5 ) Backing up the EEPROM data (See 8.19.1 [p284].)
Caution
Take proper care so that the
lower rotation axis ASSY
(40274-3000) does not fall.
Caution
Peel off the old liquid gasket to
prevent water leakage.
Reapply the liquid gasket to
the area from which the old
gasket was removed.
