2 . Adjust the position of the grooving ASSY (40274-7200) by the procedure below.
1 ) Position the grooving wheel (43131-
M001) so that it contacts the arm
position adjustment jig (40300-
0980).
2 ) Loosen HH4 × 4.
3 ) Tighten the adjustment screw
(40274-M723) until it comes into
contact with the stopper (40274-
M713).
4 ) Tighten HH4 × 4 to fasten the adjust-
ment screw (40274-M723).
3 . Check the position of the grooving ASSY (40274-7210) by the procedure below.
1 ) Confirm that a sheet of paper with a thickness of 0.05 mm or less cannot be inserted
between the arm position adjustment jig (40300-0980) and grooving wheel (43131-
M001).
2 ) Confirm that a sheet of paper with a thickness of 0.05 mm or less cannot be inserted
between the adjustment screw (40274-M723) and stopper (40274-M713).
3 ) If the paper can be inserted, perform the adjustment again.
4 . After adjustment, remove the arm position adjustment jig (40300-0980).
5 . Attach the wheel to the right processing ASSY (40274-7200)
(see 7.1.27 [p125]) .
6 . Attach the lens adapter (40251-M045) (See 7.5.1 [p161].) .
7 . Perform the following.
1 ) Rotation axis adjustment (See 8.8.2 [p183].)
2 ) Wheel calibration (See 8.12.3 [p191].)
3 ) Groove calibration (See 8.12.4 [p192].)
4 ) Processing Adjustment (See 8.14 [p197].)
5 ) Backing up the EEPROM data (See 8.19.1 [p284].)
