7.4.14 Stepping motor (80407-00217) for G_R PM
Replacement part: 80407-00217
1 . Open the front cover ASSY (40274-1100) (see 6.1 [p93]) .
2 . Disconnect the connector of the stepping motor (80407-00217) for G_R PM.
3 . Unscrew SB3 × 6 (n = 3) to remove the
stepping motor (80407-00217) for G_R
PM along with the motor bracket (40274-
M703).
4 . Unscrew SB3 × 6 (n = 4) to remove the
stepping motor (80407-00217) for G_R
PM from the motor bracket (40274-M703).
5 . Loosen HH4 × 4 (n = 2), remove the pinion
gear (40274-M705), and replace the step-
ping motor (80407-00217) for G_R PM.
6 . Reassemble the parts in the reverse order.
Insert the shaft of the stepping motor (80407-00217) for G_R PM until it
reaches the mechanical limit of the pinion gear (40274-M705).
Make sure that one of the HH4 × 4 screws contact the flat surface of the shaft
for the stepping motor (80407-00217) for G_R PM.
Caution
For the instruments with S/N700001 to 700010, attach the motor while pressing
the motor bracket (40274-M703) to the back of the instrument.
