8.12.4 Groove calibration
1 . Attach the touch sensor type calibration jig (40300-0970) (see 8.12.1 [p189]) .
2 . Display the menu screen (see 8.1.1 [p167]) .
3 . Perform the groove calibration by the procedure below.
1 ) Press [Maintenance].
2 ) Select the Func. 1 tab to display the
Maintenance function 1 parameters.
3 ) Press [Start] to the right of “Groove
calibration”.
4 ) The message “Push calibration sen-
sor three times for check….”
appears.
5 ) Push the sensor part of the jig three
times.
6 ) The OK button appears.
7 ) Press the OK button.
4 . After calibration, the chuck opens.
5 . Press [Exit] to return to the layout screen.
6 . Remove the touch sensor type calibration jig (40300-0970)
(see 8.12.1 [p189]) .
7 . Attach the lens adapter (40251-M045) (see 7.5.1 [p161]) .
8 . Perform the following.
1 ) Backing up the EEPROM data (See 8.19.1 [p284].)
Caution
Be careful not to cause vibration or shock to the instrument during the
groove calibration.
Take proper care so that any force is not applied to the jig cable by the
rotation of the chuck shafts during the calibration.
Sensor part
