8.12  Calibration

8.12.1  Touch sensor type calibration jig (40300-0970)

1 . Enter the data indicated on the touch sensor type calibration jig (40300-0970) by the proce-

dure below.

1 ) Display the menu screen 

(see 8.1.1 [p167])

.

2 ) Press [Maintenance].
3 ) Select the Func. 1 tab to display the 

Maintenance function 1 parameters.

4 ) Press the Calibration tool data field.
5 ) With the numeric keypad, enter the 

data indicated on the touch sensor 
type calibration jig (40300-0970), 
then press the Enter key 

.

6 ) Press [Exit] to return to the layout 

screen.

2 . Attach the touch sensor type calibration jig 

(40300 -0970) by the procedure below.

1 ) Remove the lens adapter (40251-M045) 

(see 7.5.1 [p161])

.

2 ) Attach the touch sensor type calibra-

tion jig (40300-0970) to the lower 
shaft (40273-M303).

* Fasten the jig to the shaft 

(40273-M303) with the set 
screw (40370-M008).

3 ) Connect the cable plug of the touch 

sensor type calibration jig (40300-
0970) to the jack for maintenance of 
the left panel.

3 . After calibration, remove the touch sensor type calibration jig (40300 -0970) by the proce-

dure below.

1 ) Disconnect the cable plug of the touch sensor type calibration jig (40300-0970) from 

the jack for maintenance of the left panel.

2 ) Loosen the set screw (40370-M008) to remove the touch sensor type calibration jig 

(40300-0970).

3 ) Attach the lens adapter (40251-M045) 

(see 7.5.1 [p161])
