SECTION 4 -- LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE

2. Press in the retaining clip (1) to release the pipe

from the filter head (6 cylinder engine shown).

3. Rotate the engine to make sure the primer pump

lever is on the cam stroke.

4. Pump the hand primer lever (1) until the fuel

emitted from the filter head opening is free of air

bubbles.

5. Install the pipe and ensure the clip is correctly

re--fitted.
