GS716T and GS724T Gigabit Smart Switches
To configure global settings:
1.
In the
Key String
field, specify the authentication and encryption key for
communications between the GS716T and GS724T and the server. The valid
range is 0–128 characters. The key must match the key configured on the
server.
2.
In the
Connection Timeout
field, specify the maximum number of seconds allowed to
establish a TCP connection between the GS716T and GS724T and the server.
The valid range is 1–30 seconds.
3.
Click
Cancel
to cancel the configuration on the screen and reset the data on the screen to
the latest value of the switch.
4.
If you make any changes to the page, click
Apply
to apply the new settings to the system.
Server Configuration
Use the Server Configuration page to configure up to five servers with
which the switch can communicate.
To display the Server Configuration page, click
Security
Management Security
,
and then click the
Server Configuration
link.
To configure server settings:
1.
To add a new server, select
Add
from the
Server
field, enter the
IP address of the server to add, and click
Apply
.
Note:
The
Add
option is available if fewer than five servers are
configured on the system, and the
Server Address
field is only
available when Add is selected in the Server IP Address
field.
