Installing a Memory Module
Your NEC Versa 6000 comes standard with 16 megabytes (MB) of random
access memory (RAM). You can increase system memory to a maximum of
48 MB by installing one of the following memory modules in the system.
■
8-MB memory module
■
16-MB memory module
■
32-MB memory module
Use the following steps to install a memory module.
1.
Follow steps 1 through 4 in the preceding section, “Hard Disk,” to re-
move the hard disk drive.
2.
Locate the two memory module connectors in the drive bay.
