are controls used in conjunction
with other keys to change their functions. To use control keys, press and
hold the control key while pressing another key. For example, “press
Ctrl
c
” means to hold down the
Ctrl
key and type the letter
c
. How the key
combination works depends on the applications you are running.
NEC VERSAGLIDE
The NEC VersaGlide is an easy way to control the cursor with your finger.
Lightly glide your finger across the NEC VersaGlide and the cursor follows.
You can select items in one of two ways:

Double tap your finger on the VersaGlide.
■
Double click the left button (this is the primary button).

Try both ways and decide which you prefer. If you find the double tap diffi-
cult to use, go to the next section for general directions about adjusting the
touchpad properties.
