McAfee VirusScan
When you activate Scan and select Scan Now, the following error message appears.
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk
into drive d:
If you click “Ignore,” the following message appears.
d:\WIN32app\VirusScanNT\Scan Activity Log.txt could
not be opened, logging will be disabled for this
session.
To disable logging, follow this procedure.
1.
Double click on the Scan icon from the VirusScan group.
2.
Click on Reports tab.
3.
Click off (remove the x) Log to the: D:\WIN32app\VirusScanNT\Scan Activity
Log.txt.
4.
Click on Scan Now.
To maintain logging, follow this procedure.
1.
Double click on the Scan icon from the VirusScan group.
2.
Change the pathname to read as follows.
C:\WIN32app\VirusScanNT\Scan Activity Log.txt
3.
Click on Scan Now and you can scan and collect logging information.
When you leave the application, the settings are not saved, so you must make this change
every time you use the Scan procedure.
AVI Distortion
If you experience distortion when using an AVI file while trying to resize or drag the
window, you can disable “Full Drag On” to resolve this problem. Follow this procedure.
1.
Select Control Panel from the Program Manager.
2.
Double click on the Desktop icon.
3.
From the Applications box, click on “Full Drag” to disable.
