When prompted insert “Setup Disk 3” and press
Enter
.
The system displays a screen listing the mass storage devices recognized on your
system.
7.
Press
Enter
to continue without adding additional devices. The following
information will appear on the next screen.
Please select the media from which you will install
Windows NT.

To install Windows NT from CD-ROM, Press
Enter
.
n
To install Windows NT from 3.5” disks (drive A:),
press
A
.
NOTE:
Do not remove the “Setup Disk 3” from
drive A yet.
8.
When the message appears warning you that any existing partitions will be
erased, press
C
to continue.
9.
A screen appears listing the available partitions. To install Windows NT on the
highlighted partition or unpartitioned space, press
Enter
.
10.
Choose whether to install Windows NT on the FAT or NTFS file system (see
your installation guide for more information). The default is the “FAT” file
system, press
Enter
to continue.
11.
The default path for installing Windows NT is “ \ WINNT35.” Press
Enter
to
accept the default.
12.
Place the Windows NT CD into the CD-ROM reader, and press
Enter
.
13.
When prompted, remove any diskette in drive A and press
Enter
to restart your
computer and continue the setup.
The system reboots then continues to install Windows NT from the CD.
14.
When prompted, enter your
name
and tab to the next field to enter the
company
name
and click on “Continue” or press
Enter
.
15.
Verify the information you typed and click on “Continue” or press
Enter
.
16.
When prompted, enter your
computer
name
and click on “Continue” or press
Enter
.
17.
Verify the information you typed and click on “Continue” or press
Enter
.
18.
Choose the desired language and click on “Continue” or press
Enter
.
