NOTE:
When using a DDC2 compliant
monitor, Windows NT will automatically set
scan rate to optimum resolution, stored within
the OS for that monitor.
Resolutions which are not defined are not given
as selections in Control Panel/Display/Desktop
Area and are not displayed even when the video
driver and video hardware are capable of
supporting them.
This completes your Matrox video driver installation.
Crystal Audio Driver Installation
The following procedures describe how to install the Crystal audio drivers (for multimedia
systems only) and set up MIDI support. Read this section before installing your drivers. If
you do not have a multimedia system, skip to “Intel Bus Mastering IDE Driver Installation.”
Installing
Audio Drivers
Use the following procedure to install audio drivers.
1.
From the Main group, double click on “Control Panel.” The Control Panel menu
appears.
2.
From the Control Panel, double click on the “Drivers” icon.
3.
In the Driver window click on the “Add” button.
4.
Select “Unlisted or Updated Driver” and click on the “OK” button.
5.
Insert the Crystal Audio Driver diskette into drive A:.
6.
In the Install From Disk window, type
A:\
and click “OK.”
7.
Select the “CS32BA11 Business Audio NT” and click “OK.”
8.
In the Business Audio Setup screen, change Interrupt to
5
and click “OK.”
9.
Remove the diskette and follow the prompts to restart Windows NT.
