LAN Connector Board Removal
Remove the LAN connector board from the system board as follows.
1.
Remove the support plate from the system board (see “Support Plate
Removal” earlier in this section).
2.
Position the system board with the processor side of the board facing up.
3.
Unplug the network board cable from its connector on the LAN connector
board (see the preceding figure “Removing the Network Board”).
4.
Remove the screw holding the LAN connector board to the connector frame
and remove the board.
PC Card Bay Removal
Remove the PC card bay as follows.
1.
Remove the support plate from the system board (see “Support Plate
Removal” earlier in this section).
2.
Position the system board with the processor side of the board facing down.
3.
Remove the four screws securing the PC card bay to the system board.
Removing the PC Card Bay
A – CMOS Battery
C – PC Card Bay Screws (4)
B – CPU Fan Connector P22
4.
Turn the board over with the processor side of the board facing up.
5.
Unplug the PC card bay from connector P13 on the system board and
remove the bay from the board.
