1. Check system power on and volume
control on system side is adjusted.

2. Check audio software settings.

3. Check CD for dirt, scratches, label side
up.

4. Check that CD-ROM driver software is
loaded and not corrupted.

5. Replace CD-ROM drive.

6. Replace the system board.

Cannot access CD-ROM drive.

2. Check interface cable connections at the
