From the Settings menu, select Communications and
check that the settings match the following BBS
parameters:

Baud rate: up to 14.4 bps (you can select any speed
that the modem allows)
■
Parity: none
■
Data bits: 8
■
Stop bits: 1

Log onto the BBS:
■
Click on the Phone menu item.
■
Enter the BBS phone number 508 635-4706. Your
business phone system and/or location might require
a 91 or 1 prefix.
■
Click OK.

Press
Enter
twice.
5.
Enter your first name, last name, and password. Press
Enter
after each.
6.
Follow the screen prompts until the NECTECH Main
Menu is displayed.
7.
At the Main Menu, press
F
and
Enter
for the file menu.
To hang up and log off, follow these steps at the NEC
Technologies Bulletin Board.
1.
Press
Enter
(to continue).
2.
Press
G
(command for Goodbye/Hangup).
3.
Press
Enter.
