 CAUTION:   Incorrect installation of the processor
can damage the system board, the processor, or
both.

Insert the processor into the socket.

■  

Lock the processor in place by swinging the socket
lever down towards the socket until it locks in place.

Install the upgrade processor heat sink as follows.

Align the heat sink over the processor as shown in
the following figure.

Position the short end of the spring clip on the heat
sink under the two tabs on the socket.
