Computer Name

Specify the name of server to be
managed by NEC ESMPRO Manager.
Each server name must be unique.
Authentication Key
[ ]
Specify the authentication key for
connection between NEC ESMPRO
Manager and BMC. The
authentication key is required when
using the management LAN. The
authentication key you have set in
BMC is not displayed at the next boot
of SETUP BIOS. Be sure to remember
the key.
Community Name
[public ]
Specify the community name for
SNMP trap sent from BMC. *1
Alert
Disabled
[Enabled]
Specify whether the alert is sent or
not. If Enabled, the alert is sent to the
destination where alert is enabled,
according to the setting for protocol
and alert level.
If Disabled, alert is not sent to any
destination.
Alert Process
[All]
One
Select "All" or "One".
All: An alert is sent to every media
where the alert is enabled.
One: An alert is sent to a single media.
If the alert is sent successfully, the
alert is not sent to the remaining
destination having the lower priority.
Alert Acknowledge
[Disabled]
Enabled
Enables or disables acknowledgement
of alert. If Enabled, the response from
the destination is acknowledged.

Level6
Specify the severity level of the event
to send an alert. This setting remain
unchanged even if [Clear BMC
Configuration] is executed (the initial
value is not restored.)
Remote Control (LAN1)
Disabled
[Enabled]
Enables or disables remote
management via LAN1. If Disabled,
NEC ESMPRO Manager cannot
connect with the EcoPowerGateway
via LAN1. An alert from the managed
server is not sent via LAN1.
Redirection (LAN)
Disabled
[Enabled]
Enables or disables remote console
feature via LAN. If Disabled, remote
console feature via LAN cannot be
used.
