Type of Expansion Unit

Expansion I/O units, power supply units, and intelligent units from the earlier FP0 series

can be used with the FP

, in addition to the dedicated expansion units designed

expressly for the FP

Expansion units used for the earlier FP0 series are connected on the right side of the

control unit, just as they were with the FP0. Dedicated expansion units for the FP

are

connected to the left side of the control unit.
