The value assigned for this parameter determines the delay in milliseconds between repeat characters. Sliding
the

Repeat Delay

bar to the left increases the delay between key repeats, and sliding the bar to the right

shortens the repeat delay time.

Repeat Rate

The value assigned for the

Repeat Rate

parameter determines how quickly the key you press repeats and is

measured in characters per second (cps). Sliding the bar to the left slows the repeat rate, and sliding the bar to
the right increases the repeat rate.

Keyboard Backlight

dialog box, open the

Backlight

tab.
