Seat and seat belts

Armrest

E00402400247

To use the armrest, fold it down.

To return it to the original position, push it backward until it is

flush with the seat.

NOTE

●

Do not climb or sit on the armrest.
Doing so could damage the armrest.

WARNING

●

To reduce the risk of serious or life-threatening inju-
ries in case of accident or sudden stops, make sure

that not only the driver’s seat seatback but also all

the other seatbacks are in an upright position while
driving.

●

In order to use the middle position of the second

seat, its two outer seats must have the same for-
ward/backward adjustment (vehicles with second

seat slide function) and the same seatback angle.

Otherwise, the seat belt for the middle position may
not be adequately effective in the event of hard

braking or a collision.

CAUTION

●

The reclining mechanism of the seatback is spring-

loaded. Therefore, when operating the lock lever sit
in a position close to the seatback or support the

seatback with your hand.
