Every Ethernet device has a unique MAC (Media Access Control) address. The MAC address is
assigned at the factory and consists of six pairs of hexadecimal characters, for example,
00:A0:C5:00:00:02. You need to know the MAC address of the devices to configure this screen.

Select Disabled to turn off MAC address filtering.
Select Allow to have the Router permit access from the listed wireless and LAN client
MAC addresses and block access from MAC addresses not in the list.

Deny to have the Router block access from the listed wireless and LAN client MAC
addresses and allow access from MAC addresses not in the list.
MAC Address These are the MAC addresses of LAN devices. Enter the MAC addresses in a valid MAC
address format, that is, six hexadecimal character pairs, for example, 12:34:56:78:9a:bc.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes.
Cancel Click Cancel to restore your previously saved settings.
7.3.1 MAC Filtering Add
Click Advanced Setup > Firewall > MAC Filtering > Add to add a MAC address to the MAC
Filtering screen’s list of wireless and LAN clients access to the Router.
