The Router tunnels IPv4 packets inside IPv6 encapsulation packets to the ISP’s Address Family
Transition Router (AFTR in the graphic) to connect to the IPv4 Internet. The local network can also
use IPv6 services. The Router uses it’s configured IPv6 WAN IP to route IPv6 traffic to the IPv6
Internet.
