Exam Mode
Displays the currently used exam type, e.g. Abdomen.

Probe Model
Display the currently-used probe model, or the default model.

Probe parameter area
Displays the acoustic power. Including the acoustic power, MI (Mechanical Index) and TI
(Thermal Index). For how to set, see “MI/TI Display.”

Exam time
Displays the exam time, including date and time. Exam time can be set via
"[Setup]→[Region]". Exam time will be frozen with the frozen image.

Operator
Displays the operator’s name on the screen. This information is entered through the “Patient
Info” screen.

Menu area
Includes the image menu, measurement menu, comment menu, body mark menu, and so on.

Image area
The image area displays the ultrasound images, ECG waveforms, probe mark (or activating
window mark “M”), coordinate axis (including depth, time, velocity/frequency) and focal position
(located on the depth axis in the form of
). Annotations, body marks, measurement calipers,
color bar/grayscale bar are also displayed here.

Image parameter area
Displays the image parameters for the active window. If there are more than one imaging modes,
the parameters are displayed by each mode.

Clip board/Thumbnails
Displays the thumbnail images stored under the current patient.

ECG

ECG icon
Displays the ECG icon, which consists of a heart icon and heart rate, e.g.,


ECG Display
Tip: The amplitude and position of ECG waveform can be changed.

Help information area
The help information area displays various help information items or the progress bar in the
current status.
Tip: In terms of help information, “TB” refers to “Trackball”.

Grayscale/color bar
Displays the grayscale/color bar corresponding to the current mode.

Soft Menu area
The monitor's soft menu area displays the items that simultaneously appear at the bottom of
the touch screen.
