Section 7.2: Replacing Components
1. Turn the Circuit Breaker to the off
position.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the
power supply. If the power cord is
wired into the power supply, turn the
power off at the junction box.
3. Unplug the 2 thermocouple leads.
4. Remove the hot air nozzle by loosening
the clamp..
5. Remove thermocouple wire mounts.
6. Remove the bottom cover and some of
the fiberglass insulation from the
element housing.
7. Using an 7/16 wrench, carefully loosen
and remove the thermocouple nut.
8. Remove the thermocouple carefully, it
may be snug.
