Water hardness
Your dishwasher is fitted with a water
softener.
- You should programme the
dishwasher to the correct water
hardness for your area.
- Your local water authority will be able
to advise you of the water hardness
level in your area.
- Where the water hardness fluctuates
e.g. between 1.8 and 2.7 mmol/l (10–
15 °dH - German scale) always
programme the dishwasher to the
higher value (2.7 mmol/l or 15 °dH in
this example).
If the water hardness in your area is
available in a unit other than °dH, you
can convert the values as follows:
1 °dH = 0.18 mmol/l = 1.78 °fH
Setting the water hardness level
Select the water hardness level in
your area and confirm using
OK
.
AutoDos (automatic
dispensing)
If you later wish to change the fill level
or dispensing amount of the PowerDisk,
you can adjust the pre-set values
according to the information on the
packaging.
These settings are important in order for
the
PowerDisk almost empty
message to
be displayed correctly. These settings
have no influence on the amount of
detergent dispensed in each wash
programme.
Setting PowerDisk fill level
The PowerDisks currently available
contain 400 g of detergent.
Select the
PowerDisk fill level
menu
option and confirm with
OK
.
Enter the PowerDisk fill quantity and
confirm with
OK
.
Setting Dosage amount
The PowerDisks currently available
dispense approximately 7 g of
detergent per rotation.
Select the
Dosage amount
menu
option and confirm with
OK
.
Select the dispensing quantity of the
PowerDisk and confirm with
OK
.
