9.3.2 MANUAL TENSIONER ADJUSTMENT

Some roller chains of the machine are tensioned with manually adjusted tensioners.

Periodically inspect the chain tensioning and readjust if necessary. Check the functioning of the manual chain

tensioners.

Open the left-hand guard panel to check and adjust the chain tension (and close it again once finished readjusting).

Feeding roller chain tension:

Remove the bolts

and the counternut

•

Loosen or tighten the adjustment screw

to set the

proper chain tension.

Once finished readjusting, retighten the counternut

and the bolts
