UUniv niver ersal: sal: child restraint systems in the "Uni-
versal" category are approved for installation
in vehicles. They can be used, in accordance
with overviews of the suitability of seats for
securing child restraint systems, on seats
labelled U, UF or IUF.
The identi cation IUF refers to ISOFIX child
restraint systems in the "Universal" category.
These child restraint systems must also be
secured using Top Tether or support points.

Semi-U Semi-Univ niver ersal: sal: child restraint systems in the
"Semi-Universal" category may only be used if
the vehicle and vehicle seat are listed in the
child restraint system manufacturer's vehicle
model list.
