Leather is a natural product. It has natural
surface properties, such as di erences in
structure, marks caused by growth and injury
or subtle colour di erences. These surface
properties are characteristics of leather and
not material faults. What's more, leather is
subject to a natural ageing process during
which the surface properties change.
